Hannah Badrei, Ph.D.
Vice President, Energy Supply Advisory
I serve as the Vice President of Front-of-Meter, overseeing power and gas supply procurement functions, as well as the renewables and analytics advisory teams. I have more than 17 years of energy commodity experience in the natural gas, power, and renewables sectors. My expertise spans go-to-market strategy development, origination, deal structuring and quantitative analysis.
In my most recent role, I served as Vice President of Power & Renewables Origination at MP2 Energy, a wholly owned subsidiary of Shell Energy North America, where I was responsible for commercial and industrial origination and led the launch of the company’s off-site renewables platform. Prior to that, I managed commercial and analytics teams at the Boston Consulting Group and Calpine Corporation. I began my career as a quant, holding roles in risk management and energy procurement at Pacific Gas & Electric.
I have chaired the Houston Chapter of WRISE (Women of Renewable Industries and Sustainable Energy) and am an advocate of women entering and achieving leadership roles in the renewable energy and sustainability sectors.
