Albina Abaspahic

Clean Energy Analyst

As the Clean Energy Analyst, I am responsible for analyzing renewable energy market risks and opportunities, including policy and regulation, and various analytical exercises in order to help clients to define their sustainability goals, understand their opportunities and choose the best renewable procurement strategy by providing the most updated and accurate insights. Together with this, I oversight content development for renewable and sustainability publications.

Before joining Altenex Energy, I worked for an international energy and sustainability consulting company, where I helped organizations in getting started with net zero and developing a strategy on the basis of our analysis to ensure that businesses become more sustainable while also being profitable after implementing net zero practices. I developed a greater interest in scope 2 emission reduction techniques, which included adopting renewable energy sources and energy-efficient lighting, automating buildings, putting in place “smart” controls, and doing regular maintenance on equipment.

I am based in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
